Come discover the hidden secrets of Zafran, Hong Kong’s premier Tapas offering. Check out our Facebook Map Challenge for a chance to earn a signature Sangria, cocktail or shooter on the house! “Like” our map and then follow it in person to our basement site, nestled in a small alley away from the hustle and rush of Wyndham Street and just above Lan Kwai Fong. Our unique space has an informal yet sophisticated feel with bare brick walls, leather chesterfields, and uniquely atmospheric lighting. It’s your own personal Spanish escape, a taste of flamboyant paradise right here in Hong Kong.
If you’re not familiar with Zafran, we put our own unique spin on the concept that in Spain is called “tapas y musica”, an unpretentious but chic local establishment offering the real classics of Spanish lifestyle and cuisine. Zafran is the newest masterpiece from the Aqua restaurant group, featuring a huge selection of classic and innovative new tapas types, succulent and satisfying mains, as well as an extensive wine and drinks selection.
Once you’ve found our location, there’s more to explore inside! First, enjoy a meal in the main dining area with high ceilings, large windows, exposed brick walls and wooden panelling. Or perhaps our relaxed and fun ‘tapas lounge’ is what you’re in the mood for. Featuring a bar positioned in front of an open kitchen where you can sit comfortably and make friends with our talented chefs, it really is a unique dining experience. We also offer a room length cocktail bar, beautifully lit with carefully selected antique-style bulbs and perfect for after-work or late night cocktails listening to the beats of our DJs, who expertly build excitement as the night goes on.
To compliment your dining experience, we also invite you to discover our wide range of Spanish cava, red, white, sweet and fortified wine, including a selection of beautifully crafted cocktails.
