Since 1982, the Gay Games have brought together people from all over the world, promoting diversity, respect, equality, and solidarity. To join hands, participate in sports and cultural events and much much more- all festivities designed to encourage diversity, inclusion, and tolerance across Asia. This is why we are encouraging everyone to attend the upcoming Gay Games in Paris, hosted from 4 to 12 August 2018. We are excited to participate and see Paris’s spin on the world’s largest sporting and cultural event open to all, known as the Gay Games.
The Paris 2018 Gay Games will begin with a magnificent opening ceremony at the Jean Bouin Stadium followed by an all night gala opening Party in the Grand Palais, one of Paris’s most prestigious monuments. Every day of the 9 day festival will be filled with entertainment until 10pm around the heart of the city, City Hall Plaza.

Over 36 sports events are planned with 500 competitions, 15 000 participants and 70 countries being represented. The Pink Flamingo highlight and big Aquatic finish is not to be missed- this event always sells out! The Pink Flamingo will be preceded by a women’s water polo demonstration, the final of the men’s water polo tournament and a synchronized swimming demonstration.
Other sporting events include Aquatics, 5k and 10k Athletic Marathons, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Bowling, Boxing, Cycling, Dancesport, Fencing, Field and Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, Football, Golf, Judo and Martial Arts, Roller Skating, Rowing, Rugby, Sailing, Squash, Tennis, Triathlon, and Wrestling… plus more!

Cultural events include Ballet, Music, Fashion Shows, and Visual Arts exhibitions, finishing with an Argentine Tango demonstration at the Grand Ball hosted in front of City Hall.
